Legends of the West Pattern Company was created in 1995 with the publication of Quilted Legends of the West by Judy Zehner and Kimberley Mosher.  This mother-daughter team out of rural Colorado created original designs reflecting their heritage and surroundings.  In 1997, they published their second book, Barnyard Legends, which reflected their ranching and farming background.

Although both books are now out of print, they have continued publishing individual patterns.  Their "counted patchwork" process and easy piecing techniques gives the quilter the ability to create fiber art which is practical and beautiful.
